QUALITY ISSUES
| If you require a match on VHS tape, it will obviously be a 1st generation copy of what indicated in our list. NEVERTHELESS, it doesn't mean that the second generation tape you receive will be bad quality. In fact, image quality is usually enhanced providing acceptable sound and picture quality for even those old matches whose picture quality deteriorated through time.
PLEASE NOTE : Our collection is mostly on tape and was acquired using AMATEUR Video2000, BETA and VHS VCR recorders. We are now in the process of digitally remastering all matches with the help of PC video cards in order to preserve the whole collection on DVDs or Hard Disks.
In judging picture quality of all the games in our collection we often take into consideration the age of the game. A game from the 60s and 70s will NEVER have the quality and / or the resolution of one recorded in the last few years. |
| COMMENTARY : |
It indicates language commentary. Matches in our collection have been recorded in different parts of Europe and of the world. Most of them are original broadcasts from English, Italian, German, French, Spanish and Dutch TV Stations. |
| CHANNEL : |
It informs you about the name of the TV station from which the game has been recorded. This is often in relation to the above Commentary feature. |
| MASTER : |
It informs you about the type of support in which our master tape has been recorded as well the type of recording system.
For more information we strongly suggest you read TV Systems. | | |
